11-10-11 2012 Lt Exam ADVISORY- - Updated Source Materials TOP

We have received a request for clarification on the testable content for the Police Lieutenant written exam.  In the following source material:

Police Administration 7th Edition

ISBN 978-1-4224-6324-6
Authors: Gary W. Cordner and Kathryn E. Scarborough
Publisher: Matthew Bender & Company, Inc.

Candidates are responsible for all chapters.

25% of the examination questions will come from this source.

There are five Case Studies at the end of the text.  The question was: “Will any exam questions be drawn from the Case Studies?”

I have consulted with the consultants and the answer is that no questions will be written from the five Case Studies.  Consistent with the exam posting notice; “Candidates are responsible for all chapters”.  The Case Studies are not considered chapters.

I have blind copied the candidates that have signed up for the exam but would appreciate it if you would send a blast communication and post this information as appropriate.  I don’t want anyone studying material for which they will not be tested.

Thanks in advance for your help.
