During our exam review last night we recognized that the scan sheet for Sergeant Daniel Armstrong had two errors on it; a skipped question and a question with two answers selected.  The skipped answer was recognized at the time of grading was shown to Sergeant Armstrong.  The item with two bubbled responses was not recognized because if followed the skipped answer.

We viewed the original scan sheet and it is clear that Sergeant Armstrong intentionally erased answer B and bubbled in answer D on the item read by the scanner as having two answers.  Answer D is the correct answer.  He was not given credit for his correct response.

We are awarding credit for Sergeant Armstrong and revising the Raw Score posting giving him an 87 rather than the posted score of 86.  I will notify all candidates in a separate email.  The corrected list will post at City Hall at 3:00 p.m. today.

No other scan sheets were affected by multiple errors.  We have updated our scanner operating instructions to check for multiple errors at the time of scanning to prevent future occurrence.
