We work hard, but still leave time for recreational events with our extended family! The APA believes in the family and often rallies together for a good time! Feel free to email your APD event photos to be featured in our gallery.

2008 Hurricane Ike devastates APD officers' family

Below is a letter from Mike & Teresa Bowen to fellow APD officers
We want to Thank our APD family and friends for the generous donations we received on behalf of our Parents in San Leon Texas from the devastation that Hurricane Ike left behind. We were able to drive down to San Leon and hand deliver your donations. Words can not begin to describe the emotions... They were moved by how close our APD family is and how lucky we are to have one another.

Teresa's parents were both very young when they had to leave Poland as Hitler moved across the area. Captain Wally said "If we can survive Hitler, we can survive Ike". They wanted each and everyone of you too know how special you are and how much they respect what you do for your community.

Mr. and Mrs. Jakubas (Captain Wally & Barbara) said they will rebuild, and everyone is Invited to the Grand Opening next year.

You are all Truly your Brothers Keepers.
You will always be in our prayers.
God Bless! and stay safe!

Mike and Teresa Bowen
