PROGRAM PRIORITIES Within the categories of funding, Austin Cops for Charities have identified child abuse as their area of main concern and will continually strive to have a collaborative working relationship with established nonprofit organizations such as: SafePlace SafePlace provides emergency shelter, a 24-hour hotline, hospital accompaniment programs and legal services for victims of domestic violence. Austin Children's Shelter Austin Children's Shelter provides emergency shelter, high quality care, and hope for the future to the abandoned, abused and neglected children of our community. Helping Hand Home for Children Helping Hand Home for Children provides a place to heal for abused, neglected and abandoned children. Capital Area Food Bank of Texas For over 26 years CAFB has helped provide food and grocery products to Austin area children.
