Boy Scouts of America : The Urban Youth Initiative
"It's better to build boys than to mend men." The Boy Scouts of America are serving over 22,000 youth in Central Texas. Over 1,000 are considered to be "youth at-risk" kids. We are making a difference in their lives by providing positive adult role models, opportunities to learn new skills, camp outdoors, and believe in themselves and discover their endless potential. We want to serve more kids in need but we need volunteers. One hour a week can make a HUGE difference in a kid's life. Come join our Urban Youth Initiative in Central Texas. www.urbanscouting.org
